Obsessed with Chocolate?? I am ..my poor waistline! I really have to try and control my chocolate cravings but well.. its Easter very very soon.
I have very selflessly worked hard over the last month or two to find you the best treats for Easter. I know.. you can thank me later.
First up are unusual mint chocolate coated black liquorice eggs from Lakrids. They also have liquorice pieces enrobed with salted dulce de leche caramel chocolate covered in chocolate and presented in an egg shaped presentation box – I know it sounds unusual but it works and looks impressive!
As always Cadburys have it covered. Creme eggs a plenty, easter eggs which you can decorate yourselves with icing pens or mini eggs with pieces of Daim bar or Oreo.
Tesco have a beautiful range of hand decorated eggs this Easter, hand crafted by master chocolatiers. We like this Dark Chocolate Square Egg decorated with white chocolate and butterscotch pieces, it looks a bit different and tastes incredible.
Who else loves Elizabeth Shaw mint or orange discs and flutes? They have a wonderful egg with 12 chocolate orange discs this year and it wasn’t around for long.
Rococo have a fantastic selection of products, we tried some of their beautiful hand painted eggs and I am currently lusting over this sea salt egg:
Green & Blacks had to feature here of course, they are one of my favourite brands of chocolate and this year I love their Dark Collection Egg which has a 70% egg alongside 2 bars ( butterscotch and ginger ):
Ombar is the nicest dairy and soya free chocolate I have tried ( thus far ) – its so creamy and indulgent that you could completely forget that it doesn’t contain any milk. We have tried lots of their products but the new bars are particularly good especially this raspberry and coconut one:
Holland & Barrett Good Life Eggs are free from dairy and also free from soya ( they are a may contain ) we are yet to try them but I have heard good things:
Something different to Chocolate? Dotcom Gift Shop have lots of bunny themed gifts, my girls are in love with these Bunny nightlight and party lights. The cake decoration kits are perfect for Easter themed bakes too.
Chloe is having this Leapfrog Number Loving Oven from us this year instead of chocolate, we are lovers of LeapFrog products which we find to be sturdy, fun and educational:
I am also planning to have a go at making some filled eggs myself this year.. hmm watch this space!

I absolutely LOVE Cadbury Easter eggs, I swear they put something extra in the egg shell because it’s like crack to me. I can’t get enough of it. Straight out of the fridge is best. Yum. *runs to the shops and buys armloads of Cadbury eggs
