What I’m looking forward to:

I’ve been to 4 ( possibly more) shows now and loved each one. It’s a pretty exciting place for any food lover. This year I’m really looking forward to seeing Tom Kerridge in action as I love him a little bit. I’m hoping I get to say a quick hello to him too? A bit much to ask maybe .. Well I did get to chat to Paul Hollywood and The Hairy Bikers last year and a sneaky photo opp with Mary Berry.

I want to try funny flavoured vodkas and chocolate truffles..eat pastries and cheese and taste all the oils. Looking forward to going home afterwards and sorting through my goodies and coming up with new recipes on the back of it. To being inspired by the chefs I love. To all the FOOD.

I’d love to go again as its a great chance to try out new food. Last year we took Harley and he tried and loved wild boar sausages. Can’t wait to see what else he can try this year.

I enjoy food festivals. I like trying out the various samples on offer. Some products are expensive and it puts you off buying if you’re not sure you will like them. It’s also a good way of discovering products that you have never heard of before.

Opportunities to try different foods and look out for useful/fun kitchen gadgets. I also enjoy listening to cooking demos especially by celebrity chefs normally seen on TV.

I’d love to go as my hubby has had to completely restrict his diet for medical reasons and I’m feeling uninspired and fed up of the same restricted meals. I need inspirational new ingredients and recipe ideas to get out of this rut. It’s years since I’ve had chance to go to the good food show but I know it’s the inspiration I need.

I’ve been to several of the winter shows (met the Hairy Bikers last year woohoo) but I’ve never been to the summer Good Food. I would love to go and see what new products are available for the summer season, watch and learn new recipes to share with friends over the summer months and generally have a great day out x
