Christmas Cranberry Camembert

December 13, 2013 · by munchiesandmunchkins · 1 Comment

I first read about this recipe in a Christmas magazine quite a few years ago and I’ve been making it ever since. It’s a great festive twist on an already delicious baked Camembert.

Cranberries spell Christmas to me.. For some reason I only have cranberry sauce or jelly at this time which is a shame as I love it!

You will need:

A whole Camembert
French baguette/crusty rolls
Cranberry Jelly

Wrap a whole Camembert in a foil parcel. Bake in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and hollow a small section out of the middle of the cheese. Place a tablespoon full of cranberry jelly into the hollowed out section and bake for 5 minutes. Serve with some French bread or warm crusty rolls. Delicious.
